A VERY FINE AND RARECHINESE RHINOCEROS HORN LIBATION CUP OF GOOD COLOUR, ornately carved with ratsamongst grapes and vine leaves, the handle formed with separated branches andsupported on am open foot, the interior carved with further grapes and leaves.Old chipped section to rim and 1cm hairline to rim, otherwise good condition.6.75ins long, 4.25 ins wide, 4.75 ins high.

Lot 1139. A VERY GOOD PAIR OF CHINESE 17THCENTURY SPINACH JADE INCENSE BURNERS the jade of mottled green and brown colour, with twin handles formed asa dragons head, the neck forming the handles, each side embellished witharchaic t’ao t’ieh masks and motifs, supported on later hardwood bases. Naturalfissures to both bowls, 1inch section of rim possibly ground down, oneunderside of handle lacking tip. 7ins long & 3.75ins high.

A SUPERB 19TH CENTURY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD TOKYO SCHOOLIVORY CARVING depicting a fisherman holding a well carved basket on his back inincised robes, modelled walking upon a long ivory tusk and supported on anaturalistic hardwood base. Inset with signed tablet to base. Some minor damageto basket on front of figure, otherwise lovely condition. 22ins long x 13inshigh.

Lot 1142. A GOOD CHINESE GREEN JADE FIGURE OF A SEATED KYLIN ProbablyMing Dynasty, with dark brown markings, modelled seated with head slightlyraised. Bearing signature to the side, inscribed ‘Made For The Prince Of Liao’.Natural split to one side of front leg, generally good condition. Laterhardwood base. 3.25ins long.
